How Do I Know That the Fish Antibiotics I Received Is What I Ordered?

From time to time manufacturers of fish antibiotics, such as Thomas Labs, will change the look of an antibiotic. For example, you can receive a bottle of Amoxicillin 500 mg and could receive either of the two following types:

A Brown Capsule with the marking of AA 825.

A Pink/Red Capsule with the marking of WC 731.

Both of the above capsules are 500 mg of Amoxicillin. They are the same fish antibiotic, they just look different. Therefore, in the future if you purchase the same item there will be a chance you receive a new looking capsule for a 500 mg capsule of Amoxicillin. In order to figure out if what you received is in fact what you ordered there is a way to check –

There are three methods of verification:

  1. You can call us at fishmoxfishflex.com (801-660-1173) and we will do the next two steps for you and get back to you.
  2. You can call Thomas Labs (1-800-359-8387) and they will be able to tell you what the fish antibiotic or bird antibiotic is based on the item description.
  3. You can visit drugs.com and use their pill identifier feature. You can put in the information such as the shape, colorĀ and any markings there may be on the pill.
