TETRACYCLINE HCL POWDER 99% PURE EACH SCOOP (0.5 Gram) CONTAINS: TETRACYCLINE......380 MG Tetracycline Hydrochloride was the first broad spectrum antibiotic to be released in the United States. It is as effective as oxytetracycline and it takes fish longer to build up a tolerance with tetracycline than it does with oxytetracycline.
Fish Cycline Forte Powder exerts a bactericidal action on gram positive and some gram negative bacteria. useful for control of some common bacterial diseases of fish including aeromonas and pseudomonas genera and mysobacterial group (gill diseases, chondrococcus).
Packaging: Comes in a 7 hole pour and/or scoop bottle with a handy 0.5 gram scoop, easy thumb opening, with a built in cleanout ring to prevent material from sifting through closed lid. (see picture)
Directions: Add one scoop (500 mg) into aquarium for each 20 gallons of water to be treated. repeat in 24 hours. it is suggested that a partial water change be made between treatments. while duration of treatment depends on type and severity of infection, it is recommended that extended medication baths continue for a minimum of 5 days & for not more than 10 days. discontinue treatment if no improvement is noted within 5 days.
Caution: Fish Antibiotics are for aquarium and ornamental fish only, not for human use. keep out of the reach of children. keep container tightly closed and in a cool dry place, not to be given to fish intended for food use.
Storage: Keep lid tightly fastened and store at controlled room temperature of 59°-86°F. (15°-30°C).
